What's on my wish list after winter's hibernation months
Guess what? It’s finally here! March 20th, the first day of spring.
We’re not fully there yet, I know. But we’ve had glimpses, and it feels great!
Days are finally longer. That cliché, we all keep hearing, '“seeing light past 5pm…” Cliché? Maybe. But if you’re a Londoner like me, trust me, it feels like we’re actually seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and for once, not just metaphorically.
If I’m honest, I think I have a bit of winter PTSD. I crave those late sunsets and dinners on terraces, yet there’s always this weird transition, coming out of months of darkness while I still hold onto these cosy moments of hibernation.
So after months of layering up, at this point, my beenie is a permanent extension of my head and my style, I am so ready for a spring and a reset. I don’t know if you feel the same, but spring for me is synonymous with lightness. Lighter jackets, lighter mood, we’re all slowly emerging from our cocoon.
Spring cleaning or spring reset, here’s what on my radar: pieces that bring a sense of warmth, a sun-kissed feeling and the promise that summer is around the corner.
